Dear Friends.....

Today is Shirley's bday!

Sent an SMS to wish her at 12midnight. I think she's happy I remembered..... as always. Hehe! She sent me an sms to apologise for not being able to meet up with me as often. Well... It's true. I only see her like, once or twice a year, sometimes, thrice.... But somehow, I feel the bond between us is always there. Even though, we dun even chat on the phone or sms often, yet whenever we do meet up, there's always so much to talk about and so much to laugh about. Tat's affinity, I guess. =)

Yenling and me is also like that. We've been like friends for 7yrs already. How time flies..... Me and her dun contact often too, but if need be, we are always there for each other. Then there are also the very few friends I made at SIM. In the short time of 2yrs, they have proven to be really wonderful, and encouraging mates. I hope I have nt failed them as their friends too. :p

I feel really blessed sometimes. For having so many good friends around me... so many angels surrounding me. =)

Well... anyway.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHIRLEY! *hugz*

Exciting things coming up

I have officially signed up with Pure Yoga. Signed a 1 year membership. Looks like there is no turning back. Have to make myself go for more classes to make worth my investment. Hehe!

Haiz... Sinta can't accompany these few months so looks like I must have self-discipline to go myself. Hmm... no choice. Our Sinta Mummy has to be careful. She'll join again during her 2nd trimester to do pre-natal yoga.

Talking about our dear Sinta Mummy.... She's so excited about becoming a mummy. And she's taken extra care. Like not eating chilli, avoiding some food. Haha! I think it's killing her not to eat so much chilli. But hey... Bo bian one lah. :)

Can't wait to see the baby of Mr and Mrs Hoon Kim. I is excited for them too! =p

U know wat's the one ridiculous thing I did recently? I bought a Tamagotchi!!!!!! Joei got one too. Hehe! We are gonna let them be friends. hehe! The last time I played with it was during my sec sch days lor. It was so popular back then. I think last time got imitation one, but I insisted I wanted the original one by Bandai. I think I lost it in a cab in the end.

NVM... Now, I got the latest Version 3 one, in light pink. So cute! Haha! I have been taking good care of it, and now it has mutated into something like a bird. Dun exactly know what it is ah. Haha! Joei and me plans to make Janice to get one oso. Haha! Then can play together. =P

Joei one hor... dunno y, dun wanna play game with her anymore. Seems like it keeps shaking its head whenever Joei wanna play with it. Maybe Joei is bothering it too much... hehe! Joei, go reset it and get a female lah. Then can be the gf of mine tamagotchi. Lolx!

什么样的爱情最美丽？

最近，我再追看“恶魔在身边”。。。 看着看着， 突然，回想起了学生时代的恋情。 那种天真无邪的爱情，应该是人生最美好的回忆吧。。。。

从处于暧昧阶段，到两个人在谈恋爱，甚至是分手时，两个人的想法都是天真的，很单纯的。不是吗? 在没有压力或其他 factor 的影响下，一对小情侣就只陶醉在恋爱的感觉。彼此只在乎怎样表达对对方的爱意。只知道，我爱你，你也爱我就可以了。有时候，所作的一些事很傻，不过就是那种傻傻的爱情方式最让人怀念。

随着人一天一天的成长，对爱的那种表现，也慢慢的没有了。
因为对爱情有了某种要求和 expectation。现在，要爱的简简单单，我想应该不是一件容易的事了。只有在偶像剧里才有吧。。。。

Finally... all seems to go back to normal.... funeral's over.... my fever's subside..... Gonna get back to work tml.

Still coughing a lot and it really irritates me. Can't drink too much of the cough syrup cause it makes me really really drowsy and all I wanna do is sleep sleep sleep.

Probably some yoga after work tml would make me feel better. Hmm... planning of doing 2 sessions of yoga this week to finish up my free lessons. Still planning with Sinta..... Got myself a new Adidas pants for yoga. Can wear tml already. hehe! Bought it on 30% off. So nt ex wor.....

Me is ANGRY!!!!

I dun see the need to explain the nitty nitty details and is tat so fucking wrong?!

他。。。走了。

今天是母亲节，他。。 。走了。

接到消息后，我们马上赶到， 可是，来不及见他一面。我到的时候，他已经离开了。看着他那面无表情的脸，没有呼吸的身体，忍不住，眼泪流了下来。

他看起来很安详， 不像有带着遗憾离开。

他这一世，做了很多错事，带给许多人很多的困扰， 不过在他人生的最后一段路，还是有人陪着他。让他好过一些。

我一直以为，他在不在，对我来说没太大的分别。可是，在那一刻，我心里却有一股非常悲伤的感觉。毕竟，我也叫他“阿公”，叫了二十年了。虽然，从没感受过他对孙子的爱，也没听过他的好，不过，我们总是有关系的。再陌生，都变得不太陌生了。

希望他这一世领悟不到的东西，来世能够得到。可能的话，也许。。。我不会介意在当他的孙女。。。

Yoga for the 1st Time

Seeing how enthusiastic Sinta is about Yoga, I decided to give it a try.... Afterall, it contributes to my desire to lose weight.

I went to a trial class with Sinta at Pure Yoga. Was suppose to do hot yoga. Hot yoga is actually yoga done in a hot room where the temperature is like almost 40degrees. 40 degrees!!! Can you imagine that?

But anyway, I couldn't make it in time for the class, so we ended up going for the Ashtanga Yoga which the staff there says could be difficult for a beginner like me who has never done any yoga before. Was pretty nervous about it. Heard that yoga needs flexibility to do some of the wierd poses. Rather afraid I might burst out laughing doing the funny funny stances.

Turns out..... It was good! I work muscles all over my body....some of which are those that have never been worked on for like the past 8 or 9 years.... Well I haven been doing any proper exercises since Sec sch lor..... I feel really energetic throughout class. Some of the poses are quite challenging and it's tough for me. Still, I feel awesome being able to work out. Haha!

So I hv decided, I wanna join Sinta.... Hehe! Though a bit ex, but since I am paying so much for it, I might be motivated to go more often hence having more exercise. Moreover I prefer it for it's shower facilities. Cool!

Now I can start to feel those muscles which were neglected before starting to ache from the exercise just now. Think it's probably gonna feel worse tml. But if it really helps me to shed some flab, then I think it's worth it.

Well, Jas says he'll sponsor my yoga attire... Haha! Though not pro, but with proper attire, can act a bit lah.... Like tat more keen to go more often mah. Lolx!

Gotta sleep now.... Super tired....

Things that Makes me Happy

Simple things makes me happy.....

1. Falling in love
2. A call from him to let me know he's home safe
3. Family dinner
4. Outing with good friends / or simply just coffee
5. Being with him
6. A good game of mahjong
7. A simple msg from friends (feels nice to be remembered)
8. Lying in my room in the middle of the night listening to good music and thinking back on sweet memories
9. Shopping
10. Watching a good movie

and so the list goes on.....

Actually there are much more things that keeps me happy. And sometimes it's so simple that I dun even remember.....

Another Weekend Gone~

It is a Sunday evening again.... Very soon.... Monday will come and I have to get back to work. Not that I dread going to work. It's fun and the people there are nice. In fact the feeling of working there feels like the days when I was still in Poly being in the same class as Carissa. Haha! We get to gossip, shop during lunch etc....

But going to work, means I have to get up super early in the morning. AND! I hate the train rides where I have to push and shove with all the kiasu people who 1. are afraid they cannot get into the train, 2. wanna get in first hopefully they can get a seat, 3. wanna rush into the empty trains that comes to Yishun to fight for a seat or 4. are simply kiasu. Haiz....

That's not all, I still have to get pushed very rudely by people who will do anything to get to a seat where someone gets up to alight. Oh well....

Anyway, I am looking forward to the long weekend coming up soon.

Wanted to watch Hostel at Jas place yesterday. We got the DVD. But think the DVD is spoiled. Sianz... Heard so much about it but cannot watch at all. Haiz....

On the spur of the moment, Jas decided to buy a DVD/VCD player to put in his room . If nt very wasted mah, got TV in the room but can only play Playstation games. So we went to Courts to see see look look. He decided on a Philips Home Theatre System (small one lah) upon his fren's (who's working there) recommendation. I bought a Pioneer Mini-Combo for myself. Hehe! Jas will help me pay a bit oso lah.... tat's y I bought. Lolx! The mini-combo can play VCD and DVD oso. So probably the next thing I gonna get ia TV in my room. Haha! Tat's will have to wait next mth lah.... Then can rent drama serials and watch all I want in my room. In the meantime, I will make his of Jas' home theatre system. hahahahaha!

After that, we went to watch MI3 ... It was pretty good. Good story, good moves.... Worth the price of the ticket, I guess..... 11 of us went .... We took up almost the entire row. Lucky we went early to get the tickets. We reached at about 7 plus, and the 11.30pm and 12.30am show is all full. So we had to settle for the 12.50am show instead. Any later, we probably would hv to give the show a miss.

By the time we finish the show, it was 3am. Shawn and Yongping wanted to go fish at Bishan Park so me and Jas tagged along lor. Him and I din fish much lah.... We jus sat there chatting.... Pretty nice. =) Reached home early this morning.

Gotta go wake Jas up now.... we're going out for a dinner with my grandmama to celebrate Mother's Day in advance....

I am gonna join Sinta for her Yoga classes at Gaia. And I'm gonna make sure I practise it regularly.

So many years of no exercising is scaring me.... If I continue like this, everyday jus eat, sleep, work, I think I'll be wearing Size M soon.... NO NO No.... that cannot happen..... 吓死人!

But hor, I scared later I dun hv the determination to carry on. Then will be 半途而废 leh. So... Sinta babe, you must motivate me ya?

Oh... and Janice, u wanna consider joining us? hehe! then more fun mah.... =p

I desperately nd to go on a diet. After all that food I have been stuffing myself during the long weekend, I really nd to diet. But hard lah.... Carissa jus made cookie for us all in the office. She made Chocolate Chip and Double Chocolate. Haha! Both my fav... cause no nuts. hehe! Yummy....

See lah... like tat how to diet? I was still thinking of going on fruits and vege diet or low carb food this week... But with those cookies.... haiz....

Maybe next week then..... Hehe!

He Will Be Gone Soon

I thought I was totally unaffected by the news that he would be gone anytime.... But the fact was that I am bothered by it... slightly...

When I saw him at the hospice, he was a far far cry from how I remember him to be. He used to be loud, energetic especially at cursing and swearing others. Yet now, his voice barely audible. I felt a tinge of sadness for him. And a bit of guilt for saying those things before and feeling the way I did before. I guess, that is only human.

I probably would feel the same way seeing any other old man/woman sick with a terminal diesease, on the verge of dying. God bless him.....

Off To JB Again!

After the unsuccessful trip the day before, we were determined to make it the next day. This time, we had Eug and Steven join us. Not much jam and we made it across happily. I so 兴奋. Wanted to take a pic of the sight we see across the Causeway. But before I can take a pic properly, Steven pressed the shutter....

And all I got was this "artistic" pic. Steven claims this is an artistic one..... *faint*

We went to Holiday Plaza hoping to get some 收获, but hor... alas... I din get to buy anything. Nothing I like leh.... Anyway, the main focus is the dinner! Hehe! Yes... food food and more food... Me is pig.... =p

Adrian drove us to 大马花园 for our seafood feast. This is the store Jac recommended.... Cheap and good!

The place is damn smokey and warm but for the quality of food and the price... aiya... it's worth it lah... While waiting for food, me took some pictures....

The boys posed like drinks advertisement lor... One is 代言人 for kickapoo, the other for tiger beer and another for pepsi. hahahahaha!

Apart from the Seafood, we also ordered Bak Kut Teh... The soup so nice... *slurp* hehe! Wah.... So sad... Meow no join us... While we are enjoying ourselves, he had to slog at work... nvm nvm.... we plan one more day k? Then you can join us le. =)

Then.... it was off to mahjong again. haha! This time no win le... Kanna tio pau by Steven. Lolx!

Reflecting on all these happy memories, something Jac said earlier came to my mind again. She said it's amazing how me and her can become so close. In the blink of an eye, we have known each other for 2years le. I told her this is 缘分 lor. She say is 迟来的缘分. I feel it's not... Maybe had we met earlier, we might nt have become good friends. This is the amazing thing about 缘分.

Again, it all boils down to meeting the right person at the right time. I guess, this time, I met a friend at the right time and this had blossom into a beautiful friendship. =)

(Supposedly) A Trip to JB

Saturday, Jas was suppose to go overnight fishing at Ubin. I din wanna go.... So when Adrian jio go JB, me is excited. I long long time no sit car go JB shop and eat le. My long long time is really long de lor.... Many many years already ah....Haha!

Adrian and Jac came fetch me and when we reach Woodlands..... WAH! The queue is damn long ah....

We were jammed for an hr & a half and we are like nt even half way thru. Sianz... We decided against going le. Hmph.... We then diverted our plans to go eat 好料 to compensate for our poor stomach after the long wait. Hehe!

After deliberating for a long time and a long car ride, we decided on JUMBO SEAFOOD!

Me and Jac is happy to reach East Coast. 海鲜海鲜 here we come! Lolx!

Being very hungry people, we ordered lotsa food. We had chilli crab, drunken prawns, sambal kangkong, BBQ fish and Fried Sontong Kia (Adrian's must-have). Damn shiok ah! Haven ate so much and so full before. I love the drunken prawns. The soup ah.... Wah! Heavenly man. Adrian is 对 the BBQ fish 念念不忘. Also very delicious.

Even though we are very 饱 from the dinner, me and Jac still want something sweet to complete the meal. So we went down to Coffee Club at Siglap. We are 贪吃. Lolx!

Adrian bluff people de... Say full till cannot eat... But when desserts come, he is the first to eat it. Haha!

Mmmm.... Nice ah!

Jac has never drank coffee. Actually, drank once before... But she didn't like it. But she decided to give it another try.

She tried Adrian's Ice Mocha Vanilla or was it Ice Vanilla Mocha? Watever lah....

Conclusion: She still dun like it. Lolx!

While me and Jac are happily taking pictures and entertaining ourselves and savouring the desserts, Adrian is stoning at one corner. He is super duper full by this time..... See that look?

After that, it was mahjong.... My day ended with me winning $11. =P

今天我遇到了好人

It was raining this morning.... Wah lau... What a nice weather to sleep in. But hor... haiz... gotta get to work. I hate travelling in the rain...

Lucky for me, the rain stopped when i was about to leave my house. Happily, I left without an umbrella. When I reach hor... it was heavy rain and I was stuck without an unbrella. Just nice, got a 好人 offered to share umbrella with me so that I can cross the road to the office building. So nice hor... .haha! Lucky me....

Jus now lunch, I had Kimchi and Chicken Paper Hot Pot.... Yummy... Very nice... The soup is very spicy, but very delicious. So shiok to drink on a cold cold day. Not very ex lah... On days with spare cash for a better can go try.... The one I had is $15. The shop is at Caltex House. Think the name is call Hito.

Tml Friday... Long weekend coming soon.... Yippee. lolx!

It's weekend..... Later I'll be going for a mahjong session with Sinta and Joy. Wish me luck to win some shopping money and to make up my losses for yesterday. Sinta says I can do some if I can bear to make a poor housewife bankrupt. Oh well... .I look up look down, look left look right hor... Sinta oso dun look like some poor housewife leh. Agree? Hmmm..... So dun care. I wanna win money! lolx!

Haiz.... I'm so bored at home right now. No plans at all till later. Jas not enough sleep last night so gotta let him catch some rest before we can proceed to Sinta's place. Nothing to do at home, except play game, watch tv and rot..... No one's online to chat wif me oso. Argh! Bored die me ah!

Nvm... I go bathe then go over to Jas place..... Go disturb him, ask him wake up bring me go dinner... Haha! =P

First Day of Work on a New Job

Finally, my days as a 无业游民 are over..... Today I started on my first day in the new company.

Frankly speaking, I hate first days at work. It always gives me those queasy feeling. 怪怪的.... You know, those kinda conflicting feeling between both excitement about a new job.... starting afresh and feeling nervous not sure how exactly it will be like working? And hor, first day at work means a lot of awkard conversation, not knowing how to start a topic, looking lost like a blur sotong and trying to find work to do when there really isn't much. Haha!

Oh well, lucky for me, my first day at work was all fine and pleasant. Sure.... there were some glitches at work, and I am only human, so mistakes are unavoidable but still no major wrongs yet. Hope it stays that way. Lolx!

Tml will be another day. More to learn and more work coming....... Time to sleepz.....
