Queen for a Day

So what did I do on the day I step into a quarter of a century of my life?

Basically..... it was a simple but heart-warming "celebration". As Jas had to work half a day, I took the time to laze at home before I went out to collect my R4 at Toa Payoh before I went down to Orchard shopping. Wanted to search for the Gucci lanyard that Jas say will buy for me but it was out of stock. Jas and the few others came later and we just shop around, buying snacks at basement of Taka, chill and joke before we went to our favourite BBQ steamboat place...... which is Dragon Village at Marina South.

On our way there, Meow called to say that the Nicoll Highway and ECP is jammed pack. Cause it was the Fireworks Festival.... See? So grand hor? My bday they put fireworks leh. Hahahhaha! Ownself! Anyway, we had to go till very far to make a U-turn before we can turn into Marina South. I was hoping to catch the fireworks while we were still on the expressway but aiya... they damn slow leh.... cannot see.

We only managed to see when we reach Marina South and yes! fireworks were very pretty. They always are. I like fireworks! It always makes me happy. That's why I always look foward to National Day and New Year's Day. =)

After dinner, we did the usual thingy of hanging around in the arcade lor..... see? That's y I say the whole day is really pretty simple but nice. I just like to hang around people and see all smile. Too bad Jac, Meow and Adrian were not here.

I received a card and angbao from the usual gang at The Arts House. They so sweet! Gave me a card that says, I'm the "Queen for a Day" all in glittering letters! And hor, it's a pop up card with a tiara in the middle leh! SCHWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some more say I am the 美女 of Arts House 之一. Wah lau! Hahaha! All in good fun lah. Thanks all!!!! I love you all! We are not just colleagues! hehe!

I place the tiara on top of the toy doggie that the mj kakis gave me and it looks like as if it's wearing it.... One thing though, it's now a gay doggie cause it's name is Maxine(i found a tag of the name it) Lolx!

Anyway, thanks everyone for all the lovely lovely presents! I even got a new case for my pink DS... and yes... talking about it. It's back to playing the games now!

I'm 25!!!

And that's like a quarter of a century... haiz... getting older. Jas too.... He turned 27 three days ago. I got a nice surprise on Thursday. Those mj kakis, sent me a bouquet of flowers with a cute stuffed toy dog which looks like Toffee to my office. So sweet of them. Of course I must take pic to show everyone lah. haha!

Joei, Sinta & Janice got me my favourite Kate Spade business card holder. Woohoo! Love it man. Been wanting to get it for ages. Love the pink inside the black. Professional yet funky. Hehehe! Thanks girls!

Not sure how I'm gonna celebrate this year... probably just keep everything simple... Just dinner. Sometimes it's the simplicity that makes everything more beautiful... Isn't it? =)
