A most Unfortunate Incident

Oh gosh! Something really unfortunate happened today and it really spoiled my mood. The whole incident has to start from Sat.....

Jas, me, Eug, Tan, Kel and Yp went Marina South that day. It was like a celebration for Kel and Yp's bday. It so happens tat after the dinner I forgot to take Jas' van keys. We went to the arcade after that. When we wanted to leave, Jas realise that the keys were lost. We went back to the steamboat shop to look for it but close already. In the end, we all went back home by cab.

The next day, after retrieving the spare key from Jas' boss, we went back down to Marina South to get the vehicle. Upon reaching, a summon was on the vehicle and tat was the 1st unlucky thing.

As the weather was damn hot and the whole vehicle was heated up, Jas open both doors and winded down the windows.... I waited in the vehicle while Jas and Fly Pig went back to the steamboat shop to ask if any of their staff had kept the keys. And yes, indeed they managed to get it back.

When Jas came back, he started the engine...... All of us heard some cranky sound as if something was stuck between the the parts of the vehicle. Jas quickly stopped the engine. Faintly, we heard the sound of a bird calling and it stop. Fly pig went down to check if the wheels were clamped, but no... it was not. Jas started the engine again but this time, no more cranking sound. Worried that a bird might have been stuck, Jas shut the engine wanting to double check.

Then I smelled something pungent. Jas said, "A bird might have be crushed between the fan belt."

I got down the vehicle and Jas opened up the seat to see.... something fell to the bottom of the vehicle. I bent down to look and saw.... a lot of blood and an animal on the floor. It died! I was scared.

After pushing the vehicle to another lot, Jas announced that it was a kitten. OMG! It was horrible. I din see the actual sight... but they said that its back was all ripped off and the tail had broken in two pieces. I almost cried.... So poor thing.... Wat a horrible way for its life to ended this way. We wanted to bury it, but no one dare to touch the poor kitten.

Wat I couldn't understand was why when we open the door and everything, it didn't start moving away from the vehicle? Surely it must have sense that there were people around. If it had made its way out, its life might have been saved. Was it stuck?

Argh! I just couldn't get over the whole thing. It's such a tragic thing to happen to a kitten. It's so small. I din see the corpse but from a glimpse I could tell it was really terrible. Gosh... hopes the kitten goes to heaven.....

Somehow, I feel responsible for it. Cause if I hadn't forgot to take the keys, the vehicle wouldn't have been parked there overnight. And the poor kitten wouldn't have hid and slept there and thus it wouldn't have died..... It's all my fault.... I killed a life indirectly!!!!

I'm so sorry, kitty! So sorry..... If only I had been more careful.....

Back from Bangkok

I'm back in Singapore from my BKK trip. Now I finally understand why BKK is hailed as a shopping paradise. That's a pic of Jas sending me off at the airport. Everything is so cheap there... clothes, food, groceries... everything. All I did there was shopping, eating, more shopping and of course sleep. A pity it all ended so fast... i'm gonna miss the Chatuchak Market.

That's me and my sis on board the plane. I brought my fav bear with me. Hehe! The special gift from Jas.

It's so scary... The clothes I saw there were mostly what I could see in Far East. Yet it's only sold for about 20SGD the most there while in Singapore it cost about 30bucks or more.... In fact, I think most of the goods sold here are taken from there. I think it will makes more sense to save by not shopping in Singapore and then flying to BKK periodically to do the necessary shopping.

Puppies were sold there too. They were soooooo cute. Wanted so much to buy them back. Each cost bout less than a 100SGD man.... But if I were to include licensing and shipping them back, the cost can be quite high. They were like so poor thing. So many of them in a small confined area on display waiting for people to buy them. I wonder wat happens to them on a Sat night. Do they spend the night there, waiting for the vendors to come back the next morning? I saw a nice husky puppy. It had one side blue eyes and the other side brown. So unique... Very pretty....

The people there are friendly... But when it comes to night time, the taxi drivers and tuk-tuk drivers are pretty "shi zi kai da kou". A lot of them refuse to on the metre when we board and insist we pay them a standard 100 baht when in fact by metre would only cost us between 30 to 40 baht. Some of them even ask for 200 baht complaining it's a long distance, but actually we were very near the hotel... *tsk tsk*

I bought a whole lot of clothes... cause it is super duper cheap. Shoes as well... I bought each pair of heels for less than 10 bucks. OMG! So happy with my cheap cheap bargains. One thing, I'm can't get enough of is the Thai body massage and the foot massage. For a 2 full hr of body massage, it only cost like 16 bucks? Here, it cost 6 times more.... And the skills there are good. Hmm.... I'm gonna missed it. It felt so shiok lor... Everyday after shopping, go massage then go back hotel sleep. Next morning, more shopping. Haha!

Oh... but well.... Holiday's over. Immediately the next day after I reached back Singapore, I had to help Robin with his events. Worked till 11.30pm on Wed night and had to report to work at 8.30am the next day for the actual event.

I saw Eileen Wee in real person. She's so pretty! She looks better in real person than in photos. During the rehearsal, she came bare-faced and she still manage to look gorgeous. She very petite. Nice figure! Lolx! She's very versatile when it comes to hosting shows and she is very friendly. Hmm... Through conversations with her, can see that she's of the intellectual kind and not just a "hua ping". Very impressed with her....

Will be reporting for work officially on Mon. It's gonna be the start on my working life soon. I'll enjoy this weekend as much as I can. =)

A Mon without Jas

Jas in reservist and everything seems to move in slow motion.... Haiz... Everything just seems different knowing I won't be able to see him on a Mon evening. Too used to it, I guess....

Was suppose to meet Roy for dinner at Mark's new shop. However, he could not make it and postponed it to tml. Luckily Cherlyn called me out about 6plus if not I would have rot at home with no dinner.

Went to Sakae and end up I din had a nice dinner. Cherlyn ordered a beef udon at first and I ordered the Yasai Miso Soup (consists of all kinds of vege). The waitress came back the 1st time and says they have ran out of beef. Cherlyn changed to something else. Then the waitress came back a 2nd time and says they have ran out of vege, only cabbage and mushroom left. Was a bit pissed off so rather rudely I said, "Cancel my order then." Think I startled the waitress a little bit. Seeing her face change, I told her nicely again it's ok, jus cancel my order. So "sao xing", wat we wanted all dun have de. Thought can have a delicious meal..... In the end I only had a chawanmushi and california handroll for dinner. Sianz... Suddenly I miss the "Ba Chor Mee" at SFJ. Haha! It would have been nice than what I had. Nvm... I got tml's dinner at Mark's to make up for it. Yummy.....

Looks like tml is gonna be another similiar day where I'll slp till the middle of the day before I prepare to go out for dinner. I've asked Carissa along but nt sure if she can make it. She might have to work OT (I think I'm gonna be like her soon when I start working.... ). Poor girl... She fell on her butt while roller-blading on Sat. Ha! Haven't seen her for a god damn long time. It's always nice to hang out with her cause we never fail to gossip. Haha! Typical girls ya? =)

OMG! Jas will only be back on Thurs! Tat's like 3 more days.... Eug mentioned tat everyone seems so lost without him around. Everyone dun seems to arrange to meet up without Jas asking. Wierd! Y can't they call each other? Hmm....

So sad sia... Jas book out on Thurs and I'll be flying off to Bangkok on Fri. Will only be back on the 22nd. Looks like we're really gonna see less of each other. This entire entry makes me sound like a love-sick puppy. Oh great! How bimbo is that....... =/

Come to think of it. If I have the spare cash, I guess I would have more places to go instead of staying love-sick at home ya... How mean tat sounds... I do miss Jas... hehe! But I can't help but feel it's the boredom that makes me miss him. Oh well... that sounds even more mean. WTF! That's the way things really is mah... Haiz...

However, I am excited each time he manages to sneak a call to me. Happy to hear his voice knowing he's ok and he misses me. I guess, I do miss him as in really really miss him. YES I DO! I miss Jas.....

Relac One Corner! Lolx

Having a very relaxing time now that exams is over... hehe! Enjoying watever time i have now before I start my long career journey ahead.

Had a gathering with Janice's group as well as Jenny's group. We all had so much fun gossiping about what happen in sch and sharing jokes. Looks like we will hardly have such chances to get together anymore in the future when all of us will be busy with our own lives. Tat's wat happened to Shiryley, Esther and me. Anyway, we took some nice pics....

A gigantic drink we had at Fish & Co. See how big it is compared to the pepper bottle?

Double dose of it! Haha! 6 of us shared it and we still cannot finish it!

Pretty Jenny and me. She's in a air stewardess hairdo cause she went filming before she came. She acted as a air stewadess. She looks like one huh?

Joei and Me sharing the gigantic drink. (Forgot wat it is called!)

Trying to act cool with the drink.... Er....

They went on to ktv after that but Janice, Joei, Rochelle and me din go. I wanted so much to join them. But din want to waste money on mid nite cab fare and Jas couldn't fetch me so I gave it a miss.... Nvm... There is one more KTV date with Joei and Ben. Haiz... But it has been postponed... Hopefully all will be free when I get back from Bangkok.

I come to realise one thing about Jas. He is damn patient in certain ways unlike me. I've noticed that when it comes to playing game. He really has the determination to complete it. For example when playing Need for Speen Underground. Normally, for myself, if by the 2nd round out of 4 laps and I am lagging behind, I will restart the race, but for him, he will perserve and carry on concentrating on catching up. In the end he wins. Playing billard oso like that. Losing he still will try his best and make sure he graps every opportunity possible and in the end, he managed to win also. Wah! Really admire this kinda patience. This is one impt thing that I lack in me.... Haiz....

I think this is wat a relationship is about. As time passes, u get to understand each other better. There may be some things that you like or dislike about each other, it is natural. The good things, u learn from one another. The ones u dislike, u either try to change it or u accomodate it. Each relationship is different and each new relationship is a lesson u learn.... at least tat is wat i think......

End of a Chapter in Life

Exams are finally over. When I was there at there waiting for my final paper to commence, suddenly a whole lot of memories flash thru my mind. I recalled the time I was taking my final paper in poly and in rapid mode, my poly days just swam past in my mind. It feels like I am about to enter another level in life with the completion of my exam. Somehow it scares me.... It seems to come with tremendous pressure.

Now with it all over, I feel empty in a way. I dun seems to have anything to do till I start work at Robin's. A feeling of lost.... A tinge of relief. I did have a nice weekend though. Lots of mahjong as a celebration of end of exam. Lolx!

Seeing how nicely Jac came up with her poems, I thought for a while about something I wanna express. Came up with this:-

The cruel pain of him betrayed
She regrets it.
Her intense longing for a moment in time
He denies it.

Destiny

I met the right person,
but at the wrong timing.
In the end, we both failed each other.

Would things have been different if we chance upon each other at another time? Maybe now...? What happens when the wrong one appear at a timing just right? Will it all work out just fine? Meeting the right person at the right timing is a destiny. Where is mine? Is he the one? Or was he the one?

On Deepavali...

Woah! Yesterday's paper was a killer paper man. Found it so difficult to write. I think I try too hard to put in concepts ba.... Hope I dun fail tat man. I dun wanna repeat the stupid subject....

So another one down. Last one to go... on this fri. Heard itz nt gonna b a easy one. I better get ready for it.

Had a wierd dream last nite. But it was a nice one.... Dreamt of Keith... maybe cause jus before I fell asleep, he was the one to sms me good nite. In my dreams, he was the bf of one of my friend (in real life they dunno each other. Haha! That's y it's so wierd) Can't recall exact details already but nice....

Peter and Meiye finally got together le. After so long.... so happy for them. Somehow I jus feel they are very suited to each other. Whenever I see the 2 of them together, I feel so happy. Dun ask me why, I oso dunno. Jus glad lor...

Looking forward to the KTV session that Ben mention. Must see him perform Cai Yi Lin songs ah. To help "jie ya" after exams. Lolx!

Last nite played mahjong.... Been craving for it for a long long time. Lucky last nite no lose much. 7 bucks only.Haha! Jac even made a mahjong poem
see it here cause she was so happy to be able to play. What amaze me is, mahjong is such a cheena game. But under her fantastic language ability, she managed to turn it into literature context. Really "pei fu" her ah! *bow*

Gotta go bathe now.... Meeting Jas in a while....
