Yesterday afternoon feeling bored, I sent out a cute forwarded msg to a couple of my friends of which one of them was eh... let's just call him WX.

After a couple of hours, I received a sms from WX asking if I want to meet for dinner since he is having an exhibition from Suntec. I thought, "Y not? Since we haven't met for so long." So he ask me what time I would reach etc etc and if I dun mind can I go up to Hall 4 first to meet him there and again I said ok...

While I was strolling over to Suntec after work, a thought suddenly dawn on me.... Why so wierd ah? If meet for dinner, y dun just meet downstairs? Y must ask me go up to Hall 4 where his booth is to meet him? I started to fantasize thinking, "Maybe he now got gf le. And the gf saw the forwarded sms I sent him earlier and she jealous. So she want to find out who am I. Hence she use his hp and ask me to meet for dinner etc etc and meet him at the Hall. Like that hor, if really the case won't it be an ugly sight? Like out of drama?"

Haha! I think I is mad!

Of course the above is all my own imagination lah. Nothing like tat happen. We just went for dinner and after that he brought me to see the new optical fibre fountain at Suntec. Super nice! Hehe! Feels a bit like dating leh... Maybe cause I have been with Jas for so long and not done done anything like tat so haha, feel a bit like 小鹿乱撞。 But really lah... WX is a nice guy. Must intro him to Cheryl. They should get a long quite well...

This morning... woke up to a bad news..... friend's dad pass away..... feel bad for her..... Most likely will be going to the wake this evening. Meow is right.... "life is so vunerable"

Today's lunch was a planned ahead of time.... It was a lunch which my boss owed Daniel and us previously. So we made it a department affair.

Yes.... the same Tony Roma's where I had spent a couple of years working in enjoyment. =) A place where great friends were made, where lovers were found, where memories can only be reminisced now.....

Knowing that I would be going there today, I had a wierd dream last night. Couldn't recall what it was all about but I know there was "him" in it. Nothing much really....

Everything in there is still the same... I guess nothing changes there... It's the people that have changed. I saw Adrian the manager and Derrick the Kitchen manager. Din call them cause din really feel like talking. Wanted to look for Anscy, but she wasn't there.

Suddenly.... I heard this familiar song, this heart wrenching familiar music and lyrics.... the song that brings the many memories that comes tagged with it.... Mariah Carey's "When you Believe"

I had always fondly called it "our song" and it remains "our song".... at least to me, it is so.

But well, guess what? Thought these thoughts did come across my mind, it didn't feel as bad as how I use to feel whenever I thought of these. It is a good sign isn't it? =) Letting go... Letting go... I did it? =)

Anyway, food was great.... still like before.... and then it was back to work.

On a more light hearted note, I saw rainbow! A very nice rainbow....

At tea time.... I took a stroll to Central, wanting to get some snacks for tea break. But alas... Guess what? I found a lost baby!!!!! And had to spend time helping that lost kid find her mummy.... The baby cute wor... Here's the baby....

Lucky the mummy left a toy for her to play. So she wasn't crying.... lolx!

After helping the baby found her mummy, the mummy abducted me. She refuse to let me go and insists I shop with her. I had no choice but to oblige lor. Haiz... I so hard life leh. So scared later boss cannot find me and fire me. Then hor, I'll make sure the mummy supports me ah by paying me to go shopping with her. Hehehe! Right Mummy? =p

在来临的星期五，我将会回到一个充满着许多回忆的地方。一个让我经历了很多开心与幸福日子的地方。

回味过去。。。

Finally I won money in mj again. Hehe! For a while, I was on the losing streak and the cards that I get are so bad. But on Friday, I won $32 and just now again I won.... $22. Hehe! And boy.... the cards I got was really good. It may not have started nice, but each time I draw the tiles, it was something good one lah. hehe!

Friday was a pretty relaxing day at work. Probably, weekend coming, so no mood lor... Just wasting time away. As usual.... to waste time, we take photo. Not a lot lah this time. Only me and Lyn, the usual one. We try to cover each other's arm in the photo so that it doesn't look fat. Hahaha!

This morning, or rather Sat morning.... I got up earlier than my usual Saturdays to meet Sinta and the little Yoo-ri. So excited to see them. Hehe! Actually more excited to see Yoo-ri cause I haven seen her for quite some time... so hor... very eager to see her smiles and see how responsive she is now. Wah lau! She is so super cute leh.... Cannot stand ah.....

See? That's little Yoo-ri. Sinta probably feels shy being not cuter than Yoo-ri, so gotta cover her face. ha!

Of course, must make her take picture with me also...... Yoo-ri very nice to carry de. Cause a lot of meat. Hehe!

We were shopping around Orchard today. I managed to get some clothes. Been running out of things to wear recently. So immediately getting paid, I have to update my wardrobe. Hehe! Happy with my purchases. New clothes to wear to work next week.

After lunch at Angus House, courtesy of Hoon (by the way, the restaurant serves very nice pasta. I like I like), I went to meet Meiye, Peter and Jenny to sing our hearts out. Actually not really lah. Me still recovering from my illness so hor, sing song still got the flu sound de. No standard. Haha! Then it was back to meet Jas lor....

Oh... btw, I saw something cute at the end of the day also. It's a puppy... See!!!! Her name is Lucky... Ya ya... sounds very er.... erm... but then, it's a dog mah, so no matter still cute de... Some people... get all the luck. =)

Cause hor, the shade of pink for Nintendo DS lite is prettier. Haha! Baby pink.... sweet leh... Some more got touch screen game leh. Just now Kel was telling me got the "Photohunt" game, my fav ah. How can dun buy like tat?

Got the Nintendo DS lite go leh. Can motivate me to take train instead of cab. Cause sit train can play mah. No need scared take train bored. Jas and I got our wedding bands already.... Now it seems all our planning is getting somewhere and feels more real.

Had a big fight over the ring before we decided to get it. Haha! Because of budget lah.... But anyway, now we both love the rings....

It comes with a "scope" so that you can see the "hearts and arrows" on a "perfect diamond". *roll eyes* the gimmicks of marketing....

Gotta keep it till Dec... when we can both finally put it on our fingers..... but before that... more planning ahead.... (hopefully less quarrels)

I'M BACK!!!!!

And yes.... back at work.... =( I reached back Singapore on Monday night, went back home put my luggage and then straight for a mahjong session and only got back home at like 5am on Tues morning. So I haven't got enough sleep. Feeling rather zombie.....

So what about Hong Kong? All I can say is I love it! When I reached there to me it feels really exciting, cause I'm seeing all the sights that I've always seen on TV, in those HK drama and not to forget my favourite movie serial, 古惑仔。

Jas fetched me to the airport on Fri morning. He was on MC actually. So we had breakfast before I checked in. I just walked around alone till it's time to board the plane. Quite fast actually and I had Kel's PSP to keep me company. Flight there alone wasn't too bad either except for the 2 inconsiderate China woman sitting on my either side. I watched the movie tat I missed, "Night at the Mueseum" - so funny!

At the Hong Kong Airport

As I walked out... I keep thinking... I saw this in 冲上云霄。Haha! Then as the coach take me from airport to the hotel... I was really fascinated to seeing HK for myself.

Once I reached and after I leave my luggage, we headed to our 1st work destination to meet this lady who has a cafe call "Le Rideau". She wants us to bring some performers over. We took the MTR from Jordan (Oh... i'm staying near Nathan Street near to Temple Street) to Central and then the show, "情陷夜中环" came into my mind. Hehe! By the way, this place is just like "Lucky Plaza" in Singapore on Sunday where all the maids gather.

After finishing with business, we went to search for a place for dinner and then off we went to 庙街 for shopping! It's basically like a pasar malam selling all the cheap cheap stuff lor. Din really buy much. Only bought T-shirts for Jas.... And oh yes... I saw this sales assistant in a shop who looks like Jay Chou. See picture.... The other guy they say look like JJ but I dun find it so leh.... Hehe!

I took pictures of the scenes in HK too..... Love the neon signboards. Something we dun see in Singapore. And there's also a big LV bag display above a LV shop. Haha! I was so excited to see it!

I still got lots of photos and things to tell lah actually.... but i lazy type le... so.... next time when i more in the mood ba. if not, just look out for the photos on friendster..... =p

A few more hours later, I would have to get ready and get to the airport. I'll be leaving for Hong Kong on the 10am flight. Will be back on Mon. This was a last min arrangement for work.... Due to some rather unfortunate incident, I'll be replacing one of my colleague on the trip.

I only knew I'll be going on Mon so these few days is really rushing like hell to finish up all the accumulated work. Been leaving office at like 9plus every day. Being so tired everything, I din really get into the mood of being excited about the HK trip till today. Yes! I'm getting excited. Afterall it's my first time to HK and my first overseas business trip.

What's more interesting is that I'll be travelling there alone, as in taking plane alone. Cause mine is a last min arrangement, they couldn't get tickets for me to travel with my other 3 colleagues. Hehe! Who knows I who I'll meet on plane. You know like how movies always show. Lolx!

Hope to be able to shop there and not just work! Cheers~ =)

My Strategic Planning Session

Last week and this week was crazy . Emails and calls are like non-stop. Workload piling up like mad. Haiz..... I miss Cheryl! haha!

I wasn't looking forward to my company's retreat last weekend, but surprisingly, it was good fun. Other than the fact that I have to wake up early everyday, I pretty much enjoyed the whole retreat.

Jas was very nice. He took a half day leave to send me to the ferry terminal. The ferry was at 9am. So I had to wake up like 6.30am. Von missed the ferry and had to take the later one.

First day was jus a lot of talk from the bosses.... presenting their 3yr plan for the company etc. The presentation was very clear and everyone got to know where we are all headed for and where all of us stand. There sessions was light hearted except for a bit of drama here and there. hahaha! The best part is the role play part. That was super hilarious man. Even my GM and bosses joined in and acted crazy. Lolx!

We all stayed in Villas, either one-bedroom or two-bedroom ones. There are a few which is like on top of the sea and it has a fantastic view..... Especially the sunset view. Nice!

I stayed at the one behind the sea view ones. But it is a double storey kind. More spacious and more luxury. View is ok lah.... Blocked a bit but still can see the sea a bit....

2nd Day was shopping day! To my surprise, there are clothes to be bought at Batam leh. It was cheap. Everyone was quite spontaneous and we all were able to joke, poke fun and gossip. Everynight, me and Lyn will be doing a recap of all the gossips before we went to bed. haha! So we had lots to share with Ling and Nat after we came back. Oh... we even had a karaoke session there. It's like back to the 80s and 90s cause the songs they have are so outdated! The MTV's aren't even original. Singing halfway and you can see this stupid bikini clad woman jumping around and we would all burst out laughing. But then again, it makes the whole thing more fun. Lolx!

I think Alvin was trying to act something from the KTV.... But I can't remember what is it. He's a funny guy.

This is an old news actually but I kept forgetting to blog about it. Oh well... that irritating guy in my dept has resigned and next Thurs will officially be his last day at work. Apparently it seems that he has got a better offer somewhere else.... one of his clients.... Like tat no point keeping him back. Haha! Not that I want of course. =p

So now my dept is on the hunt of looking for someone new. Anyone interested?

Somehow recently, workload seems to have slowed down slightly. Not so much pressure. However with Dan no long handling enquiries and Cheryl away, I got more enquries lah. But that's not too difficult. It's just like going thru same procedure everyday lor. Easy peasy... Just tat some clients can really be a bit troublesome. There is this horrible woman who calls my hp like 10 times a day for her event. Scary leh!

I'm going Batam for a company retreat... oops... should be "Strategic Planning Session" (dunno wtf the management wants this name for. Siao!) this Friday. Leaving on a early morning ferry and won't be back till Sunday afternoon. Sianz... Not looking forward to the trip leh. It would hv been much better if Cheryl would be going. Got kaki mah! Hehe! But ok la, at least now I still got Lyn. =)

I wish I could be on the Genting trip instead rite Jac.... Haiz.....

Those were the words that accompany the picture that dear Cheryl send yesterday. See already ah really feel "Nabei". While she is enjoying in the Land of the Rising Sun, the few of us are pathetically working in the Land of the Blazing Sun aka Singapore. Hahaha!

But we were all happy to receive the picture and to know she's having fun there. She has been looking forward to the trip. A well deserved break for her!

I like the pic. Can really feel her joy and happiness. Amazing.... how much feelings a simple picture can convey.

He made my day

I was about to go to bed.... Took a look at my hp and realise that it's 3rd April. It's his bday. Hesitatingly, I keyed in, "Happy Birthday..." and pressed the "send" button. I thought to myself. He won't reply, jus like always....

A couple of mins later, I heard the sms tone of my hp. My heart skipped a beat.... I wasn't expecting a reply?! It was a simple reply, "Thanx!" Really jus a simple reply I think out of courtesy. Yet..... It is a reply. He did reply! I know this sounds so silly and awkard but I'm really happy. So happy and relief that I cried. This probably meant tat there is the ever possibility that we might be on talking terms again. I was rather skeptical. I thought, "Maybe he din know it was from me cause he had erase my number from his hp. But out of courtesy, got pple sms him to wish him so he gotta reply lor...." Dunno if this is true but I rather think positively....

I was so glad and I sms Sam to tell him about it. Something he replied made me cry harder....

Me: I sms "him" to wish him happy birthday. He actually did reply to say thanks. Finally he has some response.
Sam: haha. silly u... Ok lar at least still friends mah
Me: I din expect him to reply
Sam:Ok lar make ur day le lor... silly gal
Me: I'm just glad.... After a long while.... Good to know I haven't lost a friend
Sam: You never lost anyone sis. Only we seldom hang out mah

That sentence, "You never lost anyone sis" makes me feel so comforted..... Slightly touched... Ok lar... quite touched. =)

I is very 重感情 one.... Never like the feeling of losing a friend or any misunderstanding. Morever friends whom I have known for years and years. Friends who really meant something in my heart. I dunno how long it will take before we can be back to being friends but I hope it does happen one day.... He is someone whom I dun want to have any regrets about.

I dunno since when I stopped using his name in my blog.... I just din wan to. Maybe, one day.... I'll be able to post up some happy stuff with his name spelt out... Just maybe...

This week passed extremely fast. Probably cause there's simply too much work to think about the time.

Was looking forwad to Sat cause Angela had planned to give us a treat.... Food... I love food! Hehe! I is greedy, I know. =p We went to eat at Carousel at Royal Park Hotel (can't remember wat is the exact name lah... The one besided DFS Galleria lor). The selection there is a lot ah. I had lots of oyster cause it's so fresh. Dun have the funny taste at all. But the best part is the desserts..... WAH! A lot ah and super nice... I like I like....

After the fulfilling and satisfying dinner, we went on to what a few of us like best... KTV!!!!!! Lolx! Recently got lots of new song. So must sing sing sing. Hehe! I like it when there's a whole group of people going. Sometimes it's nt the singing tat is so fun. It's the hearing people sing and all will sing along tat's fun. Like when Meow and Eug sing those 信乐团 songs, super good ah. Lolx!

Long time no have one group go out have fun le.... It's really nice to see all smiling. =) Oh... and not to forget... Photos before I end off... Hehe!

I was calling Jas to wake him up. Gotta call many many times before he will wake up de... So I got bored and started cam-whoring. Lolx!
